Tom Banning served in the US Marine Corps as a Recapture Tactics Team member of Fleet Anti-Security Team Atlantic where he served in Operation Just Cause. He has served in many infantry roles in the Illinois National Guard to include as an Infantry Captain in Afghanistan. He currently serves as a Judge Advocate in the Army National Guard and is a Bronze Star winner.
